Hi All,
When I start my journey in a morning my Outlander will show an electric range of about 35 miles (brilliant). However, once I've travelled about 5 miles to work it has dropped to around 23 miles (still good, though). Has anybody else noticed this and does anybody have a reason for this?
For information: 4.5 miles of the journey is along Dual Carriage Road with 4 sets of traffic lights. I tend to stick to 50mph.
The route does undulate up and down but no more than normal. My regeneration setting is B0 and I'm in ECO mode. The only thing I have on that drains electric is the radio.

Thanks...Paul

Hi Paul

I am a new owner and this morning after a charge I saw 37 miles, it did drop as soon as I started but not quite as much as yours and I actually did 29.4 with 3 remaining (save used on 2 steep hills for a few hundred metres).

I would imagine that after a charge the voltage is maximum but as soon as a load is applied it will initially reduce steeply at first so the estimated range drops off.
